The Legend of Baphomet

(From an early CIA Report consulted on by a respected East Coast Archaeologist)

The seventh son of Ishmael, himself a bastard, was visited in the desert by  Ammon, "The Goat of Mendes" god of fertility and sexual freedom, also kown as Ra and in other parts as Baal. He appeared in the form of a half goat-half man, claiming to "bring knowledge", (later recorded by 2 greek words joined to mean "absorption into wisdom ... "Baphomet"). According to legend, Ammon took him to a high place and fed his emotions by drilling home the rejection by his grandfather Abraham and his god Jehovah. He reminded him of how God had destroyed man with  flood and that it was he who loved man, helping restablish him in Sumeria and Babylonia. Right there he caused Ishmael's son to enter into a Dark Covenant and gave him a symbol of the covenant, a small statue, made from a stone unlike any found on Earth. He touched the statue and blood poured forth from the stone, burning a five star diagram into his  hand, the mark of the Dragon, along with strange digits [precise instructions to take to his people on how to build a Temple.] One day "The True God" would return to defeat all other gods, including Jehovah and set up his kingdom on Earth. Until then, the dark god demanded worship and annual blood sacrifice..

Though idol worship is strictly forbidden, elements of this "Dark Covenant" remained in the Moslem religion through present day.  In fact the name Baphomet is sometimes incorrectly associated with Mohammed. It was not uncommon for The Knights Templar to fight side by side with Moslems and they did, in fact, absorb some Islam customs, feeding the legend that they worshipped Baphomet. King Philip of France used this to create fear and distrust of the Knights so he could possess their treasure. (Friday the 13th) Though it was never proved, The Last Grandmaster of The Templar Knights, Jacques Demolay, confessed to herecey under extreme torture. He later rescinded  and was burned at the stake. Before his death he laid a curse upon those involved with his demise vowing they would soon join him in death. Phillip's puppet, Pope Clement, ordered the search and destruction of Baphomet, deeming it unholy and an enemy of The Church. Once retrieved, The idol was dragged through the streets, burnt, crushed, sunk, among other things, but they were unable to destroy it so it was alledgedly buried and no one knows where. Strangely enough, both King Philip and The Pope died that same year.

Others believe that it was never found, but vanished with the rest of the Templar Treasure. Another theory is that the Knights Templar possessed the idol only to keep it from its true followers, a Dark Society of many names and nations, that has upheld beliefs from ancient times, (it is rumored that Philip was a member of this society). Baphomet may have been reclaimed by this group and hidden away for its rites of worship and dark rituals. The stories of what happened to it and where it may have ended up are endless... Hungary, South Africa, Scotland, Portugal, even Jerusalem. Regardless of its location, it is said, he who posesses The Dark Covenant's symbol holds the key to unlimited power, the power to reign high after The Eastern Sky is lit with fire... when The Dragon is once again loosed on Earth.

"In my years of study, I've seen nothing that would convince me it ever existed. The idol is a myth ... born from  folklore and tales of conspiracy."
